Chief Experience Officer
Current• Develop and execute strategic vision for large-scale events and experiences, driving revenue growth and achieving critical engagement goals on behalf of for- and non-profit businesses, venues, and local agencies.• Lead end-to-end design, production, and management of diverse event portfolio, including food and drink festivals, fairs, galas, fundraisers, conferences, and IP-driven experiences, accommodating audiences from 250 to more than 300,000 in urban, suburban, rural, and austere environments.Intentionally leverage events to drive economic development, tourism, and quality of life at the local level.• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with international, national, and local contractors and suppliers.• Direct P&L responsibility for multiple events, optimizing budgets and enhancing cost-efficiency while maintaining event quality and managing brand reputation, guest experience, and success outcomes.Lead and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in event execution.• Implement data-driven strategies to capture and analyze audience insights that inform event creative, marketing campaigns, box office strategies, program development, and revenue optimization.• Forge strategic partnerships with C-suite executives, sponsors, venues, local and regional agencies (DMOs, Health Departments, Public Safety, Economic and Workforce Development) and industry leaders, enhancing brand visibility and growth.• Implement innovative sponsorship models and experiential activations, significantly increasing partnership revenue and enhancing attendee experiences.• Direct marketing, communication, and box office strategies to drive attendance, maximize “weatherproof” revenue, and engage current and desired target audiences across multiple channels.• Embrace continuous improvement, utilizing data analytics to measure event performance and stakeholder satisfaction and incrementally improve event strategies and outcomes.
