Axletech is a global manufacturer and supplier of axles, axle components, brakes, and aftermarket parts used in the construction, material handling, forestry, mining, military, and agriculture markets.Complete direction setting of all assembly operations including overseeing all activity in the shipping, receiving, and material handling areas. Managed 4 direct reports.Scheduled 2 military and 2 commercial assembly lines generating over 316 million in global sales with an on time delivery of over 95%.Developed simulation tools to aid in the scheduling of the assembly areas.Developed innovative material presentation methods to increase line productivity – activities included kanban, point of use storage, 5S, and kaizen events. This key position oversees all activity in the Assembly, Material Handling, Shipping, and Receiving areas. Duties included the proper planning and procurement of both rough and purchased complete material – responsible for all aspects of the incoming material / commodity.Scheduled, executed, and reviewed production line orders within the parameters of our MRP system ensuring on time completion and delivery to our internal and external customers. Achieved 96% supplier on time delivery for all commodities under my control.Initiated spot buy purchase orders as needed for commodities outside of standard lead times.
