Reported to the EVP of Global HR in Amsterdam. Responsible for successful execution of the HR strategy and programs that supported Global Operations, Global IT, and the Science and Health Sciences Businesses. Led transformation efforts for North America that delivered a new HRIS, new HR service delivery model (Manager / Employees self-service) and developed a new set of HR competencies. Created a Learning and Development function that developed e-learning and development programs for over 3000 employees worldwide. Led company’s change initiative that assisted in creating a focus on collaboration and speed to market. Developed a Diversity and Inclusion Workshop designed to increase awareness and sensitivities to help our employees work more effectively on a global basis.

Reported to the CEO, Thomson Legal and Regulatory Group. Responsible for the overall operations of a global HR function that supported 20 businesses, over 27,000 employees in over 30 countries. Member of leadership team that led migration of company from Print to Electronic culture. Led effort to transform the HR function and organization by directing outsourcing initiatives that streamlined delivery time and increased efficiency. Led company’s effort to create a knowledge sharing culture which became the focal point of all Learning and Development activities.

Reported to the CEO. Assembled a new global HR team (US/UK) and managed oversight of building global HR systems and processes. Developed and implemented employee and Management incentive plans. Reduced turnover by 30% by developing effective talent acquisition processes, developed effective incentive plans and executed against a communication plan that established line of sight objectives. Successfully led the HR integration plans of all acquisitions allowing for consolidation of functions and significantly reduce overall operating cost.

Provided HR consulting services to the government and private sector. Provided executive team building and administered the Kolbe assessment instrument within the software and information services industry. Acted as Interim HR leader for Dialog Corporation.
