As the President/Chancellor of Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago (UTESA), I have been leading the largest private university in the Dominican Republic for over three years, with a vision of fostering a proper environment for generation of new ideas, innovation, and improvement. With more than 18 years of experience in higher education management, I have successfully implemented strategic initiatives to enhance the quality, innovation, and technology of the academic programs and services offered by UTESA.My background in engineering, business, and information systems, as well as my credentials from prestigious institutions, have enabled me to develop and apply analytical skills, process improvement techniques, and design thinking methodologies to solve complex problems and create value for UTESA and its stakeholders. I am also actively involved in various regional and national associations and organizations that promote entrepreneurship, industrial development, and social responsibility. I am passionate about advancing the educational and economic opportunities for the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean region.
