I was headhunted by NAB to launch their Franchise Funding unit. At the time they did nothave a specialist lending unit for the Franchise market. I was responsible for building thelending of that unit up and for the recruitment & upskilling of the team across NSW/ACT aswell as other States.We grew from $0 of lending to over $400mil. in three years.

At Westpac I was responsible for all franchise lending in NSW/ACT for nine years. I wasable to build relationships with most of the Franchise groups in Australia and gain an insightinto their businesses. I worked with a range of buyers and grew to understand what it takesto buy and build a successful franchise business and when exiting the key do’s and don’ts.
