As the Head of Division Student Life at studierendenWERK BERLIN A.d.ö.R. (STW Berlin), I oversee the advisory and support services for 20 universities in Berlin, serving more than 180,000 students. With a European Diploma in Cultural Administration and over 20 years of experience in international cooperation and cultural strategy, I bring a unique perspective and expertise to this role.My goal is to adapt and transform the division to better react to the changing and growing needs of students, as well as to seize opportunities in the development of new services. I have been leading the Cultural and International Affairs Department since 2015, creating innovative and inclusive programs that foster creativity, intercultural exchange, and social engagement. As head of division, I am also leading since December 2019 the social counseling, psychological counseling, counseling for barrier-free studying, and the day care centers at the universities, ensuring that students receive high-quality and accessible support. I am passionate about empowering students to achieve their academic, personal, and professional goals, and to enrich their student life experience.I share this mindset with my colleagues and it has helped us to disburse financial aid to students in the shortest time possible during the years of the Covid pandemic, to maintain childcare and to always keep the psychological support of our target group.
