Experienced operational leader with significant business experience in commercial and defense markets. Currently managing strategic partnerships amongst NYU researchers, industry and government. Mentor of early-stage startups. Designed and managed startup acceleration programs for the National Security Innovation Network, a transformative DoD innovation program office. One program based at NYU sought to commercialize defense technology by incubating a startup team in an NYU research lab. The objective was to create startups having dual-use product strategies to leverage the defense technology investments. Also developed a program that sought to facilitate the creation of dual-use startups based on university technology. Previously led Electrophysics Corp. (a developer of infrared cameras and night vision systems) which in 2009 was acquired by Sofradir France, the world's largest supplier of infrared detectors. Continued as the US subsidiary’s President until 2015.
