I’ve been considered by many to be a “conductor” of resources and an avid in-the-room navigator in a highly competitive and technical industry. With 28 years of combined military and contractor experiences under my belt, I’ve transitioned into being a highly regarded defense executive. I build and execute proven solutions for the highest-impact Department of Defense (DoD) organizations and generate value and returns for all parties. ​​Currently, I serve as the President and Chief Executive Officer for Apogee, where I specialize in generating new business and long-term value for the company and our customers across Acquisition, Digital Transformation, Science & Technology, and Mission Support domains. I’ve spent the last 15 years strategically building a single-site, single-customer small business into a $140M+ mid-sized company operating across 22 geographic locations. I hold complete P&L responsibility along with board engagement, strategic direction, business development, contract operations, and human capital.​With my keen ability to rapidly analyze the trade space of any transaction or requirement, I make decisions to optimize financial and operational needs. I’ve successfully navigated business through every development cycle and consistently generate the highest client performance ratings while exceeding business and financial key performance indicators.​I received my MBA from Johns Hopkins University, my B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Colorado Christian University, and two degrees from Air University Community College of the Air Force. I’ve completed Executive Finance and Corporate Governance at The Wharton School and enrolled in the Advanced Finance Program.  In addition, I am a Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) from the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) and a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI). ​When I am not navigating company operations or the competitive defense industry, you will find me decompressing with the restoration of classic American muscle cars, boating with family and friends, and traveling with my wife and three teenagers. ​
