Honestly, it started with a fascination with R2-D2 and War Games but quickly morphed into a lifelong curiosity about how things work under the hood. I stumbled into Open Source software in my teens and haven't looked back. I immediately recognized it as superior to the commercial off-the-shelf software of the day and am pleasantly surprised to have been correct. I've focused my career on contributing to Open Source software. I've been a contributor on many projects dating back to the 90s. I frequently write and speak on Open Source topics and was the President of the Django Software Foundation for 5 years. What kinds of problems do you solve?
