As employee #20 at Zimride (forerunner to Lyft), I was a member of the small, founding team that built and shipped version 1 of the Lyft product, including the passenger and driver experiences, as well as the operations backend.I led teams across Core Passenger, Autonomous UX, Growth UX, Enterprise Solutions, and emerging transportation use-cases. My teams built cross-platform consumer and enterprise facing applications and marketplace experiences to serve the company mission to improve lives with the world's best transportation. I focused on building high-performing teams that were culturally healthy and productive, that balanced business impact with quality of execution.Throughout my tenure, I assumed multiple roles and contributed to the company's success at every stage of growth:I was the first product manager, the second designer, and the first design leader.I scaled the design organization from 2 to 15, and then again from 25 to 50+.I've built 8 design teams–including product focused, speciality skills, and design systems–the UX research team, and closed our first 2 design VPs + backfilled 1 VP.I also led the effort to cultivate and grow the team personnel not just for coverage, but to augment team capability and impact, while continuing to evolve the incredible design team culture.

Zimride was a ridesharing community and collaborative consumption startup based in San Francisco, CA. Oversaw product, design, and brand towards shipping Lyft: On-Demand Ridesharing for iPhone & Android, and Zimride for Mobile Web & iPhone.
