 Developed an Android mobile app called Music Minutes – Music Theory Training App with the purpose to teach and train individuals to learn how to read notes, scales, intervals, and chords.  Full feature app in React Native with Redux as state management. Gamified learning music theory with timed 1-minute drills and high score tracking. Saves high score in local storage asynchronously. Integrated Admob rewarded videos. Integrated In-App Purchases with Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

 Django backend on Amazon AWS and Postgres database on AWS RDS. Front end with JQuery and Riot JS. Paypal integration in server and frontend. Custom payment flow and verifying user's PayPal accounts. Created reservation system, with double-booking prevention. Geospatial database to calculate/sort distances. Integrated Google Cloud Messaging to send push notifications to iOS and Android apps. Image uploads with thumbnail creation and caching. Tagging system creation for adding tags to items and search. Created API & token authentication with Django Rest Framework. Integrated OAuth2 social sign-in with Facebook.

 Backend development in Django, front-end with React JS. Stripe Payment integration. Created ticketing system that allows customers to request last-minute unsold tickets for an event. The business owner will approve or deny if they still have tickets left. Each party receives push notifications on updates. The system gives the customers and businesses 5 minutes to complete the transaction.

 Used R to analyzed 10+ years of library records using R to uncover students’ usage patterns in book checkouts. Merged old data in Dewey Decimal System with recent ISBN data and eliminated significant repetitions and errors. Presented findings to college administration on how to optimize library resources, and what new books to buy.

 Studied and practiced machine learning, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, data analytics with R and Python. Analyzed millions of Citi Bike data and worked in team of four to create a simulation to fix the uneven distribution of bicycles in city stations. I was responsible for finding stations where bicycles were piling up and needed to be manually relocated by Citi Bike truck workers. Found patterns and discrepancies in the data, made diagnostic plots, helped with simulations, and compared results with what NYC Bike Share self-reports Prepared and delivered formal public presentation at both Microsoft Research and Association for Computing Machinery SIGKDD at Bloomberg 2014
