Instructor and curriculum development source for a key two-week course describing the Naval Reserve Pay and Personnel system. All development was done considering the Systems Approach to Training.• This course taught the software needed for all pay and personnel actions needed for a Navy Human Resources Specialist. Developed the curricula per the Navy’s official training guidelines. All training was developed using the ADDIE methodology. • Trained over 600 students to manage Navy Human Resources functions, such as employment, human resources management, benefits, compensation, training/development, organization, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions for assigned personnel. • Selected and/or developed teaching aids, such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, and reference works.• Conducted general training sessions covering specified areas, such as new employee orientation, specific on-the-job training, apprenticeship programs, refresher training, promotional development, leadership development, and other such adaptations to changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies. • Drafted and instructed a 6 hour course on Navy Correspondence to Naval Support Activity, New Orleans civilian secretaries and supervisors.• Accumulated over 650 podium hours involving technical and soft-skills training.• Trained and evaluated 5 other instructors to give the course approximately 20 times a year to train over 720 students, including the management of exportable training nationwide (involving scheduling exportable (external) training for the teams and all preparations for the exportable training). • Scheduled and conducted classroom training, enrolling students, conducted training per Navy learning principles, established procedures for following up on all training events, established, implemented and tracked pre and post procedures for exportable training.
