Participant of Van Alen Institute's 2014 "National Parks Now" competition as Communications Strategist. Awarded first place prize of $15,000 grant to produce and implement storytelling and community engagement project prototype. Support to Development Director and Executive Director – responsibilities included assistance with grant writing, communications and donor relations support; Social Media management and strategizing engagement for over 800 volunteers during Hurricane Sandy disaster relief peak+ using #SandyVolunteers to aide Red Hook, Brooklyn; Increased following by 10x on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram and subsequently established and implemented a social media plan and strategy.Special Events/Special Projects coordinator - support with execution of Taste of Red Hook 2011-2013 fundraiser; Coordinated press conferences, focus groups, meetings and special visits. Program Development experience includes the conception and implementation of the Allies volunteer program. Responsibilities included recruitment, management and training of more than 80 NEW supporters and partners post Hurricane Sandy disaster relief efforts.

CRU member supporting with grant writing; serving as special events/special projects manager; developed, managed and co-taught the organizations first 8 week summer program in partnership with Horizon's Leadership Project in Brooklyn, NYC.

Assistant to Director of Development: consultant to Garden Party 10th anniversary event feat Tina Fey; involved with all aspects of planning & execution of event. Responsibilities included support with public relations, social media strategizing and event management. Event raised 371K & hosted 350 guests.

Provided administrative support, role included responsibilities as a partnerships manager and public relations strategist; functioned as a special events manager for annual events, led social media efforts.

Administrative support; experience with FileMakerPro database management, served as assistant to Development Director; drove 2010 Wine Fest 10th annual fundraiser-ticket sales and managed all community partnerships in addition to being the primary silent auction manager- event raised over $250k & hosted 500 guests.
