At FairWork I coordinate projects in the field of prevention of labour exploitation and support to migrant workers in the Netherlands. I also develop and give trainings to different actors in the field that might be in contact with possible victims (such as social workers).

As a trainer/advisor at the largest labour union of the Netherlands (FNV) I developed and gave trainingcourses which support members and union officials in building union power at the workplace, mobilizing and strenghtening international cooperation with colleague workers in other countries.Thematic focus: international trade union work, climate justice.

As a free-lance researcher I worked for the "On track with gender" project. The goal of this 3-year project on gender mainstreaming was to improve policy and practice towards gender equality. It included one international thematic workshop based on five position papers; field exchange with leading gender research institutes and NGO partners in the South.

My task was to do research and co-write a report on the role of youth organisations in peacebuildingprocesses in Africa, Asia and Latin-America. The report was used for lobby on the International Decade for a Culture of Peace and Non-violence during 61st session of the General Assembly of the UN
