RGTS was a public company that delisted from the Altx at the end of July 2013, after a minority shareholder buy-out by the Lightstone Group.RGTS has mainly two product offerings:1.Provide online data analysis tools, mainly to the motor industry. For new vehicle sales and vehicle specifications2. Provide customer satisfaction services (CSI) through a multichannel customer engagement platform.The company has a staff compliment of 90 people, with offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. On 1 March 2014 the operations were split into two legal entities namely; Lightstone Consumer and Lightstone Auto.Responsibilities as CFO/COO for RGT SMART included:Financial reporting (6 x staff) - Report financial results and operational KPI’s to Exco, board of directors, and main shareholder. - Short and long term financial forecasting and modelling - Corporate governance and legislative compliance - Internal Controls, design, implement and monitor and risk management - Review payroll function and the design and implementation of HR policies and procedures. - Responsible for operational efficiency and leadership including:In-house IT development team (10 x staff)Call centre operation, (18 x Staff)Data analysis team (4 x Staff)Motor data research team (8 x Staff)Administration and back office support (4 x staff)Assist the CEO with strategy development, implementation and monitoring - Identify and implement productivity and process improvements. - Interact with business unit heads to assist with target setting, monitoring and financial impact of new business ideas
