TWID (Together We Innovate in Development, www.twidbv.nl) is een nieuwe organisatie die zich toelegt op het ondersteunen van haar opdrachtgevers in de hightech markt bij het ontwikkelen en naar de markt brengen van haar producten (R&D) en/of productielijnen. TWID is een onderdeel van Detron ICT & Telecom.De dienstverlening van TWID richt zich op het opstellen van product requirements, het vertalen naar een product architectuur, het integratie proces en integreren van de deelsystemen en tot slot op het begeleiden van het project d.m.v. project management.TWID is naast deze dienstverlening ook een kenniscentrum voor het uitwisselen van kennis en ervaringen op het gebied van het product creatie proces. TWID faciliteert hierin door kennis en ervaringen (niet IP) uit te wisselen tussen haar consultants en eens per 3 maanden ronde tafel sessies te organiseren voor haar opdrachtgevers.

As a project manager I was responsible for delivering PACS* and PACS related products, complete and on time, to our (internal and external) customers. These projects included all disciplines involved, such as SW engineering, test management / engineering / customer service / application / product marketing / Quality & Regulatory (including legal affairs) / manufacturing.Certified "Agile" project manager (foundation as well as practitioner) PACS*: Picture Archive and Communication System (used in medical imaging and reporting)

As Applications / integration specialist I have been responsible for setting up the PACS test environments. After finished testing successfully, the next step was to establish and test the connections between the different systems in a live hospital environment. This before handing over the system to the end users (Radiologists / Radiographers).Setting up and testing these environments requires Knowledge of PACS , PACS brokers including interfacing to information systems (HIS, RIS), reporting systems and the different radiology modalities. It also comprises knowledge of the typical protocols used (DICOM, HL7).

Administer and coordinate formal training classes at the assigned customer installation site. Responsible for post-sale customer support including on site clinical in-servicing and go-live support. Supporting the sale of Philips products to the medical community by assisting the field Sales representatives with pre-sale demonstrations and clinical trials.Coordinate the delivery of customer training with the Field Engineer and Sales groups. Support the sales process in technical presentations of CT products where applicable. Answer a wide range of questions concerning software and clinical applications. Strong analytical and problem solving skills required. Produce well-written post-training reports and to provide written product feedback. Support tradeshow activity. Successful candidate will be a self-starter, self-directed individual in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment. General:Radiographers use x-rays, ultrasound and other forms of imaging technology to examine patients. They may contribute towards establishing treatment plans and can also be involved in intervention procedures.They have a patient care role and work in a variety of hospital departments, including theatre, accident and emergency and on wards. Some of the imaging technologies that a diagnostic radiographer may use include:• X-rays - looking through tissue to examine bones, cavities and foreign objects;• Fluoroscopy - creates real-time images.• Angiography - takes x-rays of blood vessels.• Computed tomography (CT) - creates image stacks of cross-sections of the body, including post-processing techniques on these image stacks.• Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) - creates 2D or 3D image stacks of different tissue types within the body. Also including post-processing techniques on these image stacks.• Ultrasound (US) - produces images using high frequency sound.Tasks typically involve:• Assessing patients and their clinical requirements to determine appropriate radiographic techniques.• Performing a range of radiographic examinations on patients to produce high-quality images.• Assisting in more complex radiological examinations under the supervision of a radiologist and senior staff.• Recording imaging identification and patient documentation quickly and accurately and observing protocols to ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act and patient confidentiality.• Supervising assistant practitioners, students and other staff, and delivering appropriate training.• Understanding and observing health and safety at work and welfare issues, including ionising radiation regulations, to protect yourself and others.• Ensuring that equipment is regularly checked for malfunctions and any faults are reported.
