In the last years I have been working on several projects for different customers. I have been giving advice and training for the paper industry, for companies like Delfort Group, Munksjo and Ribberink paper agents. Together we them we developed new Market positions for new paper specifications.I have made a Market study of the possibilities for vegetable based waxes in the packaging industry. I have done this study for a big Multi national company specialised in the supply of ingredients for the food and other industies, based on natural products.In the packaging Industry I have done projects and am still doing projects for several big packaging groups like, Schur flexibles, Schut flexiblePackaging, Interflex group, Cellpack , A&R, Burrows and Teckwah China. I have developped different new specification for packaging concepts and analysed organisations and working methods. Based upon this I have given advices, which saved signigificant amounts of money.I cannot go into the details, because of NDA's I agree with my customers.

After I left Cats-Haensel I started my own company (Frans martens packaging and Management advice) for packaging and management advice.

Eurowaxpack is an European organisation, to promote the usage of paper in packaging. Members are paper mills, converters, wax suppliers and machine suppliers and big end users.

As a Managing Director I was responsible for two companies , one in Freital near Dresden(Haensel) in Germany and one company in Rotterdam(Cats). Both companies are leading companies for the production of packaging materials for the confectionery industry. They where belonging to the Clondalkin Group.In this Job I was leading the two companies and was personal responsible for Sales, Development Production.Both companies came out of a loss making situation, where I have been able to change them to good profit making companies.A loss making of 20% EBITDA was turned in a profit of 15% EBITDAIn the year 2008 I decided to step back and only stayed on as MD of Haensel and worked as advisor for Cats.In this period till july 2013 I was direct responsible for big accounts like Storck Germany and Warburtons in the UK and completely responsible for the buying.In this period I was also running projects for the Group.
