I graduated from the PhD program in Pharmaceutical Chemistry (May 2014) at the North-West University (NWU) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the same institution. I am currently a Senior Lecturer at the NWUI am an energetic, upbeat individual with a positive attitude. Self-motivated, enthusiastic and highly targeted driven. I take pride in my work and will do what it takes to get results. I thrive extremely well under pressure and need challenging opportunities to be satisfied in myself. I have extensive experience in student supervision and lecturing. I am highly competitive and a skilled synthetic/organic chemist with a proven track record of peer review articles in medical and bioorganic chemistry. Key strength include management of a vast array of information in very short period of time. Student supervision, elucidating of analytical results (NMR, IR, MS, HPLC, GC/MS). Business orientated with a keen eye for attention to detail. In my professional life I am a perfectionist. In my spare time I enjoy sports, nature and to be active.
