I began my career as a corporate attorney at one of the country’s premier law firms, representing clients in variety of complex commercial transactions. In addition to this rich experience, I draw on my training and work as a counselor in the school setting supporting families and students. The synergy of the critical thinking skills of a lawyer, and the patient and empathic ear of a counselor enables me to fully support parties as they navigate conflict.Over the years, I have worked with diverse populations, and have experience in a wide variety of cases, including family, special education, community and court referred cases. In my commitment to provide equal access to quality services, I serve as a pro bono mediator at the New York Peace Institute. Additionally, I participate in the New York Peace Institute’s special partnership with the NYPD, serving as a coach to police officers in conflict resolution skills.At this stage of my life, I am most driven by the desire to help individuals dealing with the challenges of interpersonal conflicts. Accordingly, I have focused on mediating and coaching clients experiencing family and other relationship conflicts.
