Quander is an experiential marketing software company – providing photo booths and bespoke digital experiences to agencies and brands. In this role I was responsible for sales and marketing strategy, business development and account handling. In addition I supported in the development of a business plan and investment presentations. This role gave me a great experience of what it takes to run a small business, a deeper understanding of tech and software development and a good grounding in sales and business development.

Responsible for all retail marketing activity at Sky I managed a team of 5 to deliver retail POS campaigns across our main product areas - TV, Broadband & Communications, Premiums (Sports and Movies) and Mobile. Under my leadership, the Retail Marketing team had a broad set of responsibilities including optimising the sales process within our stores (printed and digital), customer experience, brand experience, store design, merchandising, channel development, roll out of uniform and promotional merchandise.Career highlights:- Launching the groundbreaking Sky 4D VR experience in Westfield London – immersing shoppers in Sky’s world leading content in a way that has never been done before. - Overseeing the relaunch of our retail collateral – reducing the number of items from 9 to 2 and in the process saving circa. £200k p.a. - Development of the Retail Marketing digital strategy – commissioning indepth research to better understand our retail estate and applying insights to create a roadmap for a more intuitive and data driven approach to Retail Marketing at Sky. - 5 x award wins for our experiential activity – BCSC Opal, IPM and POPAI Awards. - Mentoring and coaching a team of 5 with 2 promotions within the team in FY 16/17.

Looking after the Sky retail experience, I was responsible for a continuous calendar of retail brand experience activity that ran throughout the year in Westfield and on tour nationally. The experiential activity showcased Sky's products and made use of technologies such as green screen, AR and VR to immerse shoppers in Sky content driving footfall to store, generating data capture and creating sales. In addition to experiential, I worked on a number of projects to enhance the customer experience including merchandising, digital sales tools, promotional merchandise, POS and sales collateral.
