OverviewRight after I started my project under Talk Mental Health ID, I have the privilege to participate in the kanthari learning program, an incubator for social change-makers. This transformative experience provided me with the knowledge, skills, and environment needed to develop my project, Talk Mental Health.Talk Mental Health InitiativeAt kanthari, I focused on my project, Talk Mental Health, which aims to inspire and empower young people, especially those marginalized, to overcome mental struggles and discover their paths to personal growth and fulfilment. Through the comprehensive learning process at kanthari, I am working towards establishing Talk Mental Health as a community-driven organization that will eventually evolve into an NGO.Key Skills and Experiences• Research: Conducted in-depth research to understand the problem, stakeholders, target groups, and potential beneficiaries.• Project Development: Gained skills in fundraising, proposal writing, budgeting, and creating action plans.• Communication: Learned to articulate my project creatively and effectively, tailoring pitches for donors and investors.• Media Management: Acquired skills in website management, storytelling through video, and using crowdfunding and social media for visibility.• Creative Process: Explored creative writing and innovative approaches to develop, create, and share our social venture effectively.• Critical Thinking: Participated in debates, hot seat sessions, and Q&A discussions, enhancing my ability to think critically about pressing global issues. I am Mental Health and Well-being Counsellor in Phoenix Centre. The Phoenix Centre is a specialist service with Migrant Resource Centre Tasmania; it has worked for over 25 years providing torture and trauma assessment, advocacy and counselling to asylum seekers, humanitarian entrants and people from CALD backgrounds. It is a member of the Forum for Australian Services for Survivors of Torture and Trauma (FASSTT).My main role is to provide support and guidance to individuals with migrant, refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds in the social work area, to help them solve specific problems in their personal life during the resettlement process in Australia. It involves addressing personal and relationship issues, dealing with inner conflicts, trauma and torture experience, and crisis moments such as depression and addiction, in an attempt to empower individuals to achieve change and improve their life quality.

Establish a Youth Learning Center in Pekanbaru in June 2018 that aims to protect the interest of the youth refugee community by providing a secure, safe, and structured environment to offer necessary educational and development resources.3. Mental health assessment in 2018: a cross-sectional study, as part of a project collaboration with Universitas Islam Riau (UIR) Indonesia, to find out the actual impact of our programs. Moreover, it also provides comprehensive database reports and research-based results to create new strategies to achieve better results.4. In 2019, established a Gender Violence Prevention Focal-Point Training as part of project-collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)

Handling the class activities for 4th grade for the second semester & 5th grade for first semester such as indoor and outdoor learning activities4. Persuaded principal and 7 teachers to improve school standards; teacher’s attendance increased by 60%, students learning hours increased from 3 to 5 hours;5. Established extracurricular activities such as English club and reading class; students’s reading skills improved, four students became a semifinalist for Sains Kuark Olympiad. One of them got second winner placed in Kabupaten in Semifinal stage.6. Formulated parents’ and school members’ meeting; 40% parents became active in school committee meetings and projects
