The Black Travel Film Festival is a pioneering event dedicated to amplifying the voices and perspectives of Black travel creators and visionaries. Committed to showcasing stories from the African diaspora that have often been overlooked or marginalized, this festival celebrates the richness, diversity, and resilience of Black travel culture. Through captivating films, documentaries, and narratives, the festival highlights Destinations, experiences, unsung heroes, and journeys that reflect the unique lens of Black Storytellers. From exploring heritage sites, to re-discovering important figures, the festival aims to redefine the narrative of travel by centering on the stories and experiences of the Black community. By providing a space for these voices to be heard and celebrated, the Black Travel Film Festival is a vital platform for fostering connection, understanding, and representation within the travel industry.

- Film and edit long form and short form videos that obtain life lessons and more for multiple platforms (YouTube, Facebook, TikTok).- Collect raw footage to cut, splice, integrate and edit.- Data entry for vital content info in large volumes.- Media manage video assets and files.- Optimize videos with motion graphics, audio, music, and titles.

- Planned and edited creative videos for our events and promotional pieces for events and products.- Edited and uploaded YouTube and conference videos, and other videos as needed for clients.- Designed video thumbnails and other assets as needed.- Proposed fresh ideas for web and other video content to clients.- Wrote, produced, filmed, directed, edited digital content (i.e., YouTube video descriptions) including my own film projects for film festivals and other media outlets.- Coordinated with production team, producers, and talent.
