About Franz Lang
My research utilises an experimental technique known as muon spin rotation and ab initio modelling via density functional theory simulations to investigate the local magnetic properties of a variety of materials which display unusual magnetic properties emerging from collective electronic behaviour, including in particular frustrated magnets and superconductors. I also teach undergraduate Physicists at University College, Oxford.
