Franz Schmutzer has serviced thousands of video projects in numerous capacities: grip, gaffer, electrician, camera operator, assistant, stills photographer, field producer, locations manager - but more than anything as a proud vendor to the Hawaii film production community via Sight and Sound Studios. Franz has been diligently providing crew, equipment, and coordination for his peers in the industry in a way that is sustainable and that promotes a positive impact to the people of Hawaii. The diversity of his skill set has enabled him to produce, direct, and write numerous short form video projects with a focus on documentary, non-profit endeavors, community outreach, and lifestyle.
