I am a curious, hands-on person driven by a desire to spread positive feelings.I chose to study chemistry because I felt the urge to understand the world around me, combined with the joy of gaining hands-on experience by working in the lab.Then I swapped the lab for dealing with customers to learn how to make their day.In project management, I focused on long-term customer relationships, team spirit, communication and transparency. It opened my eyes to how much bad news customers are willing to accept if the relationship and communication are right.When I took over the management of the newly created Business Development & Project Management department, commercial topics and customer acquisition were added.I loved being a sparring partner for my employees when it came to their ideas on pricing - initial pricing, next level pricing, compensation for additional efforts - and all their plans on how they wanted to approach and win potential customers. I often challenged them and gave them new food for thought. My reward: the sparkle in their eyes when they came back with a new plan that they liked better than the first.The aim has always been to move the company forward in the long term with satisfied employees and customers. My personal goal was to find clever solutions to any difficulties that arose within our reach.I love the beauty of real solutions as much as the beauty in art and nature. Although I don't consider myself a sporty person, I spend almost all my vacations outdoors, hiking, biking or skiing.
