Hello everyone! I'm Franzi Eidloth, a passionate biologist and dedicated PhD student specialising in molecular and plant biology. With a deep desire to help our world secure its future food supply, I'm trying to understand the molecular mechanism underlying potato tuberisation and its adaptation to higher temperatures. By studying and analysing transgenic plants, supported by transcriptome analysis, I aim to contribute to the understanding of these mechanisms and pave the way for a future-proof potato.
