In my role as VP Markets and Business Development for Hub Europe, my team and I are responsible for activity across 40 countries, split into eight sub-regions. We’re focused on delivering the energy transition through low and zero emission power generation, efficient transmission and storage and the transformation of industry. This means understanding country and regional energy priorities and building business cases for greener technologies. With unique energy scenarios in every country and a vast market to cover, we think differently about how we present the opportunities that cleaner solutions can bring. We focus on identifying customer needs and challenges, to build end-to-end solutions across the energy value chain. We help our customers make sense of the green transition and identify how choosing this path can help both meet their objectives and remove obstacles.I head up activities from Berlin, but my team is based all over Europe.Before this role, I was VP for Siemens Power Generation in the Middle East and North Africa. Travelling and immersing myself in different cultures is a passion of mine and despite my move back to my native Germany, my role takes me to many different places.
