Luxembourg benefits from a strong civil society, with around a hundred NGOs specializing in development or humanitarian action. Eighty-nine of them are members of the Cercle. While valuing the complementarity of different NGOs and the diversity of the sector, the vision of a fair and solidarity world can be achieved through a rich collaboration within the Cercle, ensuring an essential place for its members. The Cercle is therefore dedicated to creating spaces for exchange and learning, fostering a stronger and more visible cohesion within the sector, and highlighting the issues and challenges of international solidarity. Its role also includes advocating for the interests of NGOs and addressing our lifestyles and policies to create a fair and solidarity world.

Etika - a non-profit association founded in 1996 - aims to promote alternative finance and thus supports the transformation towards a more sustainable world.With the Alternative Savings/Credit mechanism, access to credit is promoted for initiatives that give priority to social and cultural utility, international solidarity and support for the environment.
