I specialise in content strategy and delivery for challenging B2B projects, covering web & app content, podcasts, social media, video scripts, white papers and annual reports, as well as ghost-writing blogs and speeches. I also work in magazines – published on real paper. I love working with my clients – I meet so many great people doing this. And while I work from home in rural East Lothian, my current clients stretch from London to Arizona. I spend much of my day Zooming, Teamsing and tip-tapping away on my Mac. But when I take a screen break, I either eat toast or go walking with my Head of Security, a noisy Lakeland terrier called Angus. He's really got it in for the postman.

Together with original business partner Alan Lennon, we built Scotland’s leading customer magazine publishing business. And as the demand for print media faded, I moved White Light into digital internal comms and content marketing. Over the years, we successfully launched ambitious projects for numerous clients, including Lloyds Banking Group, Standard Life, Royal Bank of Scotland, Tesco, Total, Channel 4, the NHS and several universities. I also established a separate company to launch Hot Rum Cow (voted best drinks magazine in the world at the Spirited Awards in New Orleans in 2017) and ran World Whisky Day for five years.

Was also publisher of the short-lived but brilliant Scottish football magazine Fitba.
