After working in the I.T sector for a few years, I came to the realisation that the roles I was working in weren’t the best fit for me. I was lucky enough that in February 2020, I was accepted to become an unpaid intern at AFK Creators where I would work my day job at Cognizant then in the evenings and weekends, I would spend time learning about the Gaming and Esports industry. In June 2020 I was offered a full time position at the company to become an Influencer Marketing Executive, where I was responsible for managing and looking after a wide range of Influencers from platforms such as Twitch, Youtube, Instagram and Twitter. Along with managing everything concerned with the biggest creators on these platforms, it was my job to also maintain relationships with clients that were looking to deploy on these social media platforms to promote their brand and/or product. In December 2019 I tuped over from ASI to Cognizant as part of a takeover of the IT services for ASI.

At Harmeny Education Trust I was brought in to provide support to approximately 200 users’ along with 50 Children as the only full time onsite I.T Technician. From there I had to deal with a wide variety of issues coming my way from setting up a new colleagues iMac all the way to patching in a whole office floors network and telephony lines. Working at Harmeny Education Trust provided me with such a wide variety of new skills and experiences such as Apple OS support, has made me a more competent and skilled Computer support specialist. I spent a year and a half at Atos supporting users within the NHS GG&C contract by taking my fairly basic computing knowledge to becoming a competent I.T Specialist. My job role was to be the 1st Line Support analyst to all the Doctors, Nurses and care workers within the Greater Glasgow and Clyde area. In my job role I would support users making a range of requests from password resets to supplying them with a Bitlocker recovery key.
