I am a senior leader with over 30 years experience in Product Safety, environmental risk assessment, regulatory science and risk management in support of safety evaluation and registration. I have a proven track record in leading successful international scientific organisations to deliver product development, safety assessments and registrations in one of the most challenging areas for the chemical industry. I have significant experience in building and leading effective technical/R&D organisations. I have a great interest in management of change and leadership development and am developing my abilities as a leadership coach. In my career I have gained significant experience in many areas of environmental science and risk assessment ranging from ecological effect studies both at the species and population level to laboratory & field studies to investigate the environmental fate/behaviour of chemicals through to risk assessment and risk management. As part of this technical role I have also gained considerable experience in working with a wide range of regulatory authorities around the world including USA, Brazil, China, and most countries in Europe.
