Greetings! I'm Fraser Mackie, currently working in disability support, I'm on a mission to bridge the gap between mental health and the healing power of nature. With a background in conservation and a burning passion for mental health, I've found my niche in exploring the therapeutic benefits of connecting with the great outdoors.Currently advancing my knowledge in mental health, I am pursuing a Cert IV in Mental Health.Personally, I've experienced the transformative effects of nature on my own mental health. Escaping the city's concrete jungle for a breath of fresh air has been my go-to remedy, and I've observed similar positive shifts in park goers as a Park Ranger as well. One of my most memorable achievements involves coordinating a joyous park day outing for high-needs clients. Collaborating with in-house support staff, colleagues, and positive behavioural therapists, we created an environment that fostered breakthroughs in engagement and connections. Witnessing the joy and progress was not just professionally rewarding but a testament to the therapeutic potential of nature.Always on the lookout for innovative ideas to merge mental health and nature, I believe in the power of continuous learning. Whether it's exploring new therapeutic approaches, advocating for green spaces, or contributing to the intersection of therapy and outdoors, I'm dedicated to making a positive impact. My qualifications include mental health and environmental management, creating a unique blend of expertise that allows me to approach well-being holistically.Let's connect and explore the endless possibilities at the intersection of mental health and nature! #MentalHealthAdvocate #NatureTherapy
