My role evolved to become Data Science, Analytics and Automation lead on a key national project in theRadio Performance and Optimisation department. I have worked for BT for two years, first joining as aRadio Planning Specialist. I built the project from the ground up deploying Data Analytics and Automationto massively increase efficiency to allow the project to run with a core small team that would requiremany additional heads to run otherwise, with a proven track record of positive results for the business.

Worked as lead engineer for the city centre of Glasgow, a key city for Vodafone. Primarily the role involved optimisation of the radio network by analysing all available sources of performance data, KPI’s and other sources of network feedback on performance management tools (such as ZenPM, Mycom) and implementing changes to radio parameters, physical optimisation such as tilts and azimuth of the antennas, software features and operational processes to improve network performance levels. I was also responsible for network planning in my area. I ensured coverage solutions were designed to deliver optimal network performance and constantly strived to improve customer experience. I was also responsible for planning the 5G rollout of sites in Glasgow, further details in the projects section below.

These provided a great opportunity to explore different functions of the business, to understand where my interest would ultimately take me.Placements in reverse order included:1.
