Time for a change - a positive and meaningful one. My dream job would be in "Rewilding", but happy to consider other equally rewarding roles.The majority of my career has been spent in the Motor Trade - during which time I worked my way from the "bottom" to the "top". Whilst working for various main dealerships I progressed, step by step, from Apprentice Motor Vehicle Technician to General Manager/Director level. Then, in 2005, I took the opportunity to set up what was to become our very own family Car Sales business.Our family business (run by myself, my son and my daughter) was a successful one and we achieved much in our 15 years of operation. During lock-down we decided to give up while we were ahead, and closed the business.Since choosing to leave the Motor Trade (a decision that I have not regretted), I have been keen to "Give Something Back" and have already worked as a Foster Carer, and am now working as a P.A. for a disabled gentleman, and have a Volunteer Mentoring role with MCR Pathways. I'm in the fortunate position of being able to afford to retire, but I am keen to make the next few years of work really count. I am an energetic person with lots of passion and enthusiasm for things that really matter to me - from Environmental Issues (such as Rewilding), to generally helping those most in need (both people and animals).Years of business management have rewarded me with an impressive and diverse skill-set, and I am keen to utilise these skills in a way that will benefit others. I am someone who likes to be part of the solution - rather than part of the problem.I'm a hard working, focused and versatile team member who's keen to learn and always prepared to give that little bit extra. I would therefore be a valuable addition to any business or organisation with similar values.
