Fraser Russell has performed with several of Europe's top orchestras and ensembles including the Estonian Festival Orchestra, Deutsche Radio Philharmonie Saarbrücken und Kaiserslautern, St. Petersburg Ballet, Norlands Opera and Symphony Orchestra, World Brass, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra Brass and Popical Ensembles, Scottish Chamber Orchestra Brass, and the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen. Since 2020, Fraser is a member of Banda Internationale.Fraser is a keen music educator and currently holds the position of Wind and Brass Director with Musaik - Grenzenlos Musizieren e.V. in Dresden, Germany. In his role as a teaching artist, Fraser has worked with renowned programs including the Education Department of the Scottish Opera. As a member of the prize winning Pure Brass Fraser developed and delivered workshops with Live Music Now! Scotland and Enterprise Music Scotland across the UK and Ireland.Fraser has delivered Masterclasses in the Faroe Islands, Luxembourg, Scotland and Jamaica. In his is the regular coach and teacher of the tuba ensemble of the Spielmanzug Oberlichtenau in Saxony, Germany. He has previously coached the Dresdner Nachwuchs Orchester Brass section, theNational Children's Orchestra of Scotland tuba section, the National Youth Orchestra of Jamaica and the Jamaican Military Band.
