I took it upon myself to get involved and assist an organisation that was struggling due to the Coronavirus outbreak working up to 60 hours a week. All whilst carrying out my first-year studies at NTU remotely at home.Effectively worked as part of a 3-person team, accountable for ensuring that not only were inpatients fed, but that they were satisfied both physically and mentally.Demonstrated excellent organisation and attention to detail, ensuring our pantry and kitchen stock levels were counted and maintained to maximise our ability to operate as a unit.Displayed exceptional innovative skills through being personally challenged with generating ideas on how to redesign our key activities for them to be performed quicker and more efficiently.Dealt with a huge amount of responsibility having to work with cancer patients that were extremely vulnerable to the Coronavirus. I was given substantial training and health and safety information to ensure that the virus was contained and not spread throughout the hospital.Worked multiple shifts individually due to co-worker illness, dealing with immense pressure and responsibility to make sure all operations ran as expected, even though only a third of the workforce was operating. I was also looking after NHS patients throughout my time at the hospital.
