As the Deputy Manager of Tiso my job was primarily running the day to day operations of the store, driving the KPIs, motivating the sales team and ensuring the store hit the daily/monthly/annual targets. I was involved in the recruitment process of all new staff members, as well as training development of all staff.

My responsibilities in Tiso were to handle customer requests and help the customer find the most suitable product for them. The main role of my job was to fit boots and shoes, making sure the customer had the right fit before they went out hiking or climbing. I also was involved in handling the till, preparing stock for sale and making sure the shop clean before the end of the work day.I am part of the customer services team, which puts me in charge of customer orders, sending repairs away, transferring stock out of the shop, managing difficult customers and training new staff in how orders are done. This part of my job has given me a boost to my customer services, and has meant I have to manage the other members of the customer services team efficiently.As a supervisor I am also responsible for cashing up, running the shop floor when needed, health and safety management, staff development and training, back office cash handling, key handling and supporting the Managers when needed.
