Within this role I was required to deal with clients queries relating to ISA accounts. The client’s queries would come in the shape of letters, e-mails and telephone calls. The job would include carrying out amendments to client’s details, payments in and out of accounts, the setting up of accounts and also sharedealing within the ISA accounts. I believe this broadened my knowledge in another financial product available to investors.

I began my time at stocktrade as a client Administrator role, on a daily basis we would be required to carry out all the back office jobs in order to support the sharedealing team. This would include money laundering clients, making sure all paperwork was received in time for settlement of trades and also making sure payment went through successfully. In addition to this I would handle transfers, amendments and closures of accounts held with Stocktrade. This department gave me a good introduction to stocks and shares.
