Role purpose:To maximise sales and profit through sound business performance management, developing long term relationships with customers (consumers, GPs and other health professionals) and effective people development, management and leadership of employees.To take full responsibility and accountability for the pharmacy profit plan and monitor local market and competitor activity.To ensure statutory requirements and professional services are adhered to in the pharmacy and maintain the confidentiality of information concerning customers and employees in accordance with the data protection act.

Having completed the maternity leave placement I began in September 2013 I embarked on a new role which included travelling the area and fulfilling many mini-projects that took place at the time. This included training new staff up to supervisor level, refitting and merchandising stores to EPN standards and filling in for staff absence when and where required. This was while fulfilling the many roles of a pharmacy supervisor - •Supporting the Pharmacy Manager in the achievement of NHS items, OTC sales, Professional Services Income and cost control targets within the pharmacy to deliver FTB profit target.•Coaching Pharmacy Teams to drive all aspects of operational compliance through adherence with Standard operating material and the application of Delivering Operational Excellence including Pharmacy operational diaries and What the Customer Sees.•Coach and lead the pharmacy team to maximise the customer service experience in Pharmacy by utilising the Bestcare framework
