I was involved in the development of Recovery Policy for Inverclyde Housing and Council Tax Benefit Unit. My role involved liaising with local housing organisations and social landlords to agree a set of expectations and procedures that were then incorporated into a partnership agreement.

I was responsible for conducting home visits to the service users of East Renfrewshire Councils Benefit Service. The purpose of my visit would be to conduct household means test so that the correct Local Authority benefit could be paid to the correct person, at the correct time. I was responsible for detecting possible fraudlant claims, and comparing.

I worked with the Citizens Advice Service Scotland, for a period of 6 months to cover the post of Money Advisor. I would facilitate a Money Advice and Debt management service to the people of North Ayrshire, throughout 5 local offices.
