Duties included;-De-confliction of a dynamic, complex and congested waterspace (surface and subsurface) and airspace between military and civi assets. A role that developed my ability for logical systematic thinking including aptitude for prioritisation of emerging tasking to ensure safety of life and equipment. - Liaising with various stakeholders including the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA), Civi Aviation Authority, International Maritime Orginisation and multiple military organisations. - Co-ordinating military assistance to the MCA for search and rescue and life saving operations within the South Coast Exercise Areas. Involved in the coordination of several military assets during the sinking of Solstice PH199 on 26 Sep 17.Early departure from 2 year assignment due to selection for Executive Officer training and assignment.

Conducted generation periods and deployed to the Baltic region working within a multinational NATO task group. In late 2013 deployed to Op KIPION, the UK's standing commitment in the Arabian Gulf based out of Bahrain.Employed as a Officer Of the Watch onboard responsible for the safe and timely execution of the navigation as well as application of the international regulation for the prevention of collisions at sea.
