• Creating and developing the real estate process to stabilize and grow our European portfolio.
• Leading and coordinating a diverse range of teams and individuals across multiple countries.
• Estate Management of a portfolio of over 220 stores across 16 countries, which involves a high level of coordination and pressure to ensure the portfolio is being constantly optimized.
• Asset Management of our various (over 30) freehold properties across Europe.
• Decision making and recommending the best course of action – including signing new premises, lease renewals, legal disputes, team structure.
• Communicating with and reporting directly to the group CEO in UK.

CEE

• Responsible for coordinating across all departments (Design, Construction, HVAC, Maintenance, Real Estate and Estate Management):
• Valuing potential new acquisitions for leasehold and freehold considerations
• Managing the acquisition process through to lease execution, construction preparation phase, culminating in the final handover to operation department.
• Asset management of the Czech and Hungarian portfolio, including rent reductions, lease extensions and strategic positioning of the assets within the company’s wider portfolio.
• Leading a team of 2 direct reports.
• Negotiating over 40 lease deals of differing asset types including for stores on greenfield / brownfield land, in existing buildings and in malls.

* Commercial Real Estate Investment agency, including brokerage and due diligence* Acted on buy and sell side for clients, completing over EUR 45 million of transactions* Valuing commercial real estate worth over EUR 1.5 billion, including one of the top 5 largest European shopping centres

* Agency based graduate route, working on a mixture of public and private sector instructions* Also gaining extensive Landlord & Tenant experience, dealing with rent review cases and lease renewals, again for both public and prviate sector clients* Compulsory Purchase and Compensation, and Valuation roles were included in my graduate rotations
