Chow is a well-established restaurant located in central Wellington. Transitioning from a Front of House (FOH) position to the role of a Duty Manager (DM), empowered me to take on leadership and delegation responsibilities. This role demands proactive management of customer expectations, accompanying the managing of staff scheduling for optimal coverage, and ensuring efficient operations during peak hours. A key element of this role is enhancing team performance by providing ongoing coaching, feedback, as well as training opportunities for team members. It is equally vital to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests & employees through regular facility inspections which adhere to safety protocols.
