From 2015-2018 I studied Business Economics at Leeds Business school, where i was able to further develop my understanding of Business as a whole, and the way in which different businesses may operate within the market, and the Economy itself. Here i was also able to work closely with companies for my Dissertation project, where i provided extensive business analysis and gave recommendations for further business growth. Since graduating from university i have gained experience in both customer facing and office based environments. I spent a year working for a prestige car dealership, which built on my people skills massively, dealing with enquiries and customer care on a daily basis, with GDPR being a large focus. Since leaving this role I have been employed by Stanley black and decker, where I was a key accounts specialist and played a vital role in the introduction of a whole new central finance system for accounting. I also worked between two sites training new members of staff and winning several awards along the way for going above and beyond for the business. I currently work at Capita as their dispute process lead. However I’m my year with the business, I have played a crucial Role in implementing the new “excellence” team for the Leeds office, doing a complete knowledge transfer from the previous team and training new team members on processes. Here, I am also responsible for debt analysis and reporting, which I produce a document for on a daily basis,that is used by all financial teams, including the CFO.
