Additionally, I manage equipment procurement, handling everything from business case development and cost-benefit analysis to tenders, supplier management, and purchasing.I lead on delivering large & complex projects by advising on technical solutions, managing budgets, and monitoring expenditures while maximising event-related recharges where appropriate.As we adapt to our new £133 million venue, I am responsible for developing processes and systems to ensure smooth operations, excellent technical support, and exceptional customer service. This involves establishing protocols, setting up new equipment, and coordinating with various departments to meet the high standards of a world-class concert venue. I work closely with project managers and installation contractors to ensure smooth handovers and comprehensive staff training in the new technical systems. Working across a range of event genres from music to comedy, conferences to exhibitions, I lead a team of full-time technical staff, freelance specialists and contractors who collectively provide technical expertise and customer support every step of the production journey. I am responsible for developing and maintaining working procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety best practices by monitoring staff training and making sure all Bristol Beacon equipment is subjected to all relevant testing and inspection as required under LOLER, PUWER, EAWR, WAHR, BS7909 and other related legislation and standards. To ensure Bristol Beacon's technical resources offer is maintained to the highest standard, I take charge of arranging repairs and manage the procurement process for new equipment, from business case and cost-benefit analysis through to tenders, supplier management and purchasing.As department head, I assume senior responsibility for the delivery of large, complex Bristol Beacon projects by advising on technical solutions, working to budgets and ensuring related spending is monitored whilst maximising event-related recharges where necessary. As a member of the client team for Bristol Beacon's £107m redevelopment, my role requires clear communication through assessments, reports and meetings, scrupulous due diligence of plans and schedules, and particular attention to cost-benefit of equipment selection to ensure the building services, technical equipment and backstage facilities are fit for a world-class concert venue. Full time technician at Colston Hall. Responsible for setting up for events and productions in any of the Hall's three performance spaces or numerous meeting rooms. Whilst I specialise in production lighting, I am also a competent sound and AV engineer.

I can provide technical support in areas such as lighting, sound, audio visual and stage management. I have many years of experience production managing events and have provided technical support for countless productions.

I enjoying working closely with my clients and their design team to create pieces that challenge the norm but equally complements the vision of the director. I think ahead and create lighting designs that enable the show to be presented as close as possible to the original in every venue on the tour.Where possible I use Chamsys to operate my shows. I am regular provider of technical management at Swindon's premier dance venue, Swindon Dance. I maintain their technical equipment and provide an annual PAT testing service. I also provide full technical management to their in-house and incoming productions. I discuss the requirements of the show and where necessary suggest a relight plan suitable for the venue. If required, I will also source additional equipment and staff as needed.
