Primary focus is to provide intelligence analysis in support of cyber network defense operations and planning.- Developed and coordinate intelligence operations and tasks for Cyber Protection Team supporting simultaneous operations - Detects, correlates, identifies, and characterizes computer network activity to determine methodologies, skill levels of attackers, and trends associated with entities engaging in intentional unauthorized activity- Provide timely intelligence products on enemy capabilities, intentions, and actions, and provide recommendations to counter the threat to the SOCOM Enterprise Network- Developed and maintain operating procedures (SOPs) for collection, development, and dissemination of cyber focused intelligence products- Correlates computer network attack profiles with indications and warning and associated threat assessments to aid in the development and evaluation of Computer Network Defense courses of action- Coordinates the exchange of intelligence information between SOCOM and other organizations (MARFORCYBER, USCYBERCOM, NCIS, ACERT, AFNOSC, NCDOC, etc)- Monitors developments within the Intelligence Community concerning new methods and techniques for conducting intelligence assessments- Stays abreast of developments within the Intelligence Community concerning new methods and techniques for conducting intelligence assessments

Providing network intelligence to support the Cyber Security Management Center (CSMC) to defend and protect the Department of Transportation (DOT), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other federal agencies from cyber attacks. The CSMC is established as the DOT's focal point for all information security incidents and provides a centralized operation that monitors and tracks information security incidents; conducts sensor data analysis; establishes trend analysis documentation; provides proactive and responsive corrective action capability; and provides the DOT with innovative, proactive cyber-attack prevention, detection and response capability.
