I am a huge people-person and after 27 rewarding years dedicated to training personnel in cement plants, I have now the opportunity to focus on more effective training techniques, using video based resourcing.Many of us trainers (I used to think that way) believe that measuring how much our trainees have learned is a good indicator of the training effectiveness. The trouble is that we missed the link between theory and practice, between classroom and day to day operation. Typically, trainees go back to work and rarely apply what they have learned. Video brings this missing link, it demonstrates how to apply the theory learnt. I started videoing primarily for the cement industry, but most recently have experienced that others – pharma, brewery - are as well confronted to the same issues and benefit from Video Based Resourcing.
