Delivery Manager for FIS' Fedwire Product. Responsible for working with Product Management to formulate a roadmap and execute on that roadmap. Managed between 15 to 25 people at any one time based on client commitments. This management included personnel management such as hiring, performance discussions, merit discussions and day to day guidance. The Wires Product is live at multiple Top 20 banking institutions as well as in FIS' hosting center to accommodate smaller banks.Delivery Manager for customized payments systems -- both Fedwire and USACH for various top 20 banks. During that time I - Used agile like methods to help manage the team and uncover risks. - Coordinated internal releases and defect tracking with the QA Lead. - Worked with all team members and the external customer to clarify requirements as needed. - Removed obstacles for the developers which allowed them to focus on their day to day activities which was developing the software. - Planned and managed the on-site integration testing of Clear2Pay's system with all of the customer's internal systems.

Assisted in leading the merger of Wells Fargo’s Retail Foreign Exchange (RFX) into Wachovia’s RFX system, which at the time was in the late stages of implementation. This system employs Spring, Java Flex for the UI and an Oracle database and follows a waterfall lifecycle. - Worked with the business partners and analysts during the requirements analysis phase to understand their business needs and identify gaps between that and the system that is currently being built. - Responsible for the Functional Specification which documents the high level design and provides traceability to the requirements document. - Developed, in Java, various functionalities to help complete the implementation of Wachovia’s RFX system. - Developed, in SQL, migration scripts to migrate existing data from Wells' RFX system to Wachovia's RFX system.

Embraced the Development Manager Role in November 2008.Led the day to day software development activities for Blackbird’s electronic trading system using parts of the Agile Development Process. This platform allows brokers to trade interest rate derivatives via straight through processing as well as through a ticket system to account for voice brokerage trades. The system employs Java Swing, Informix, TIBCO Rendezvous and RTIC as middleware and Java and C++ servers on the backend. Led the Technology Services Group for the Corporate Banking (CB) product. CB provides a bank’s business clients the ability to manage their daily financial transactions (i.e., prior & current day reporting, ACH & wire disbursement services). CB employs J2EE, Websphere, DB2, and Struts. The Technology Services Group was focused on Performance Testing, Automated Functional Testing, and Software Development Productivity Tools and Processes. - Responsible for all management duties of the group such as scheduling, reporting, and tracking progress. - Participated in the performance testing efforts for CB. This effort consisted of stress and capacity testing that demonstrates vertical and horizontal scaling which assists customers in determining their hardware requirements. Performance bottlenecks are identified and fixed whether they exist in code, the database schema, non-performant SQL, Websphere Configuration, or in the clustered application architecture. - Participated in the elaboration, design, coding, and unit testing of the following functional areas of the product: - Dual approval for users and accounts - Batch jobs to load bank identifiers, bank identifier types, and holiday schedules - Back end hooks to allow customer implementations for rate look-ups, bank searches, and entitlements - Led development teams, of three to five developers, throughout all phases of the software lifecycle.
