My experience in the United States Army has given me excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with a team in a high-stress environment. Throughout my military career, I had to collaborate with other soldiers to accomplish assigned daily tasks and this assisted me in becoming proficient at planning and problem solving. The military afforded me many opportunities to gain experience in on-the-spot problem-solving in a team environment. This helped me develop confidence in decision-making, which can be the difference between success and failure. One of the most important lessons I have learned in life is having the discipline to take ownership of my actions. My main goal every day is to do my best and ensure that I always do the right thing. I strongly believe that making progress in all aspects of life is vital and to do that it is important to continue learning and growing.
