üPlay, just add children uPlay offers a multidisciplinary learning experience, customized to fit relevant curriculum for grades K to 12.uPlay will send a musician to visit the classroom for a half day workshop, during which students will write song lyrics, pick instrumentation using digital software, design an album cover, and rehearse and record their song. The recording is then professionally mixed and combined with scanned copies of the students’ album art to produce a youtube video.The topic of the song can be left up to the students, or pre-selected by the teacher to give the students the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge in any topic – from Canadian geography to the solar system to the war of 1812.
